Reflexe der Zirkusveranstaltungen
In der weiteren Umgebung von Bosra fanden sich epigraphische Belege für die Popularität der berühmten Zirkusparteien. Möglicherweise sind diese als ein Reflex von Rennen im Hippodrom von Bosra zu bewerten, denkbar wäre aber auch, dass der Ruhm dieser Parteiungen aus 
Antiocheia am Orontes oder gar Konstantinopel bis nach Südsyrien gedrungen ist.
